Jumpstart Minis : 360 Video Editor In-Person

Wish to create immersive 360 videos but don't know how to? Learn how 360 videos can be edited using a free software.

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

Differentiate the various modes of viewing 360 videos
Execute 360 videoshoots using the available equipment
Plan and manage a 360 tour project
Edit 360 videos using DaVinci Resolve

What do you need?

Compatible laptop with free version of DaVinci Resolve installed
Spatial media metadata injector
Compatible video player: Movies & TV (Windows) / VLC (Mac)

Digital Badge Requirements

To achieve the 360 Video Editor badge, you will be required to:

Attend the workshop
Complete an assignment which involves the editing of 360 video clip(s) using the application covered in the workshop

This event is only open to current NUS Staff and Students. You will require your NUS email for registration and you will need a valid NUS-ID to access the Microsoft Teams for workshop and assignment materials.
The session will NOT be recorded.
Do sign up only if you know you can make the date as there may be others interested in the slot.
If the session is interrupted due to any unforeseen circumstances or technical issues, the instructors will assess the disruption to either extend the session or to hold a make-up session.
As seats are limited, please commit to the workshop(s) that you register for, and inform techcentral@nus.edu.sg ASAP if you are unable to make it so that other persons may participate. Users who repeatedly miss workshops will not be able to register for future Jumpstart Minis.
